本遊學團以通識和歷史為主題，參觀非軍事區、博物館及不同的景點，提高同學對以下各項的認識︰

1. 冷戰的背景和在南北韓的發展
2. 韓戰對南韓政治和社會發展的影響
3. 後冷戰南韓的經濟和文化起飛
4. 南韓政府對歷史和文化遺產的保育政策

Through visits of the demilitarised zone, museums and different sites, the study tour aims to enhance students’ understanding of the historical context and development of the Cold War, the impact of the Korean War to the political and social development of South Korea, the economic and cultural boom in the post-Cold War era, as well as the South Korean government policy on the preservation of historic and cultural heritage sites.
