Sing Yin students won the Silver award in the Eighth Hong Kong Cup Diplomatic Knowledge Contest, which was organized by the Commissioner's Office of China's Foreign Ministry in the HKSAR, the Education Bureau of the HKSAR government and the Better Hong Kong Foundation.

Sing Yin boys have won the championship in the first "Secondary School Food Safety and Nutrition Labelling Quiz Competition" after several months of preparation. The competition is co-organised by the Centre for Food Safety and Education Bureau. A total of 50 secondary schools participated in the Preliminary Round and Semi-final Round in March and April. Sing Yin gained the victory in the Final Round last Friday as a result of the persistent and unending hard work of the participating schoomates.
The writing competition is sponsored by the Asia Children Education Association, helped spread a positive message about food saving. The winning pieces were selected from thousands of entries submitted by primary and secondary students from all over Hong Kong. Sing Yin won three awards in the competition:
Each year, the NET Section of the CDI, EDB, organizes story-writing and filming competitions to promote the learning of English, creativity and teamwork. This year, our school captured several prizes in different categories, demonstrating teamwork, creativity and language proficiency. Congratulations to all the winners on their efforts!

Sing Yin's Chemistry team won the Champion in the invention category of the 2014 Hong Kong Student Science Project Competition organized by the HK Federation of youth groups, the Education Bureau and the HK Science Museum.
In Mid-April, Sing Yin Alumni Association (SYAA) was recognized by the IMC of Sing Yin Secondary School, and therefore the recognized Alumni Association may proceed to organized the election of Alumni Manager. In accordance with the constitution of SYAA, the Association now appoints Mr. Wan Wah Sum as the Returning Officer, to organize the election of Alumni Manager. The nomination period for the election of Sing Yin Alumni Manager organized by Sing Yin Alumni Association has ended on 14th May 2014. Mr. Chak Shui Hang was the only nominee. According to the Constitution, the Alumni Association now recommend Mr. Chak to become the Alumni Manager to the IMC for its endorsement. For further details, please refer to the following link:
Tam Pok Man, Harry won the Grand Prize of the Student of the Year Award 2013 organized by the South China Morning Post and the HK Jockey Club.
The Prize was awarded to Harry, an all-rounder, in recognition of his outstanding academic performance and leadership quality, extra-ordinary achievements in Physics and Mathematics and great dedication to community services.
From design, construction, facilities, management to education, our school and campus are full of elements of environmental protection. As a result, the United States Green School Center of the US Green Building Council presented the 2013 Greenest School On Earth Award to us.
