廣州姊妹學校交流暨東莞、深圳探研之旅 Guangzhou Sister School Exchange and Dongguan-Shenzhen Exploration Tour

今年復活節假期（4月1日至4月4日），聖言中學姊妹學校交流團跨越維多利亞港，抵達東江之畔，展開為期四天的深度考察活動。師生一行先後走訪了東莞市翰林實驗學校、虎門鴉片戰爭博物館及深圳「灣區之眼」等著名地標，在豐富的行程中見證大灣區的文化底蘊與現代發展。

在到訪東莞翰林實驗學校的三天裡，友校把行程安排得充實而精彩：從歡迎會、隨堂聽課、校園參訪，到高爾夫與網球體驗、義賣活動，乃至溫馨的包餃子活動與國際部成人禮等等，聖言同學體驗了最真實的內地校園生活。

最令同學難忘的是兩校間的足球友誼賽，大家在球場上切磋球技，體會到友校同學百折不撓的體育精神。此外，翰林師生細心周到的待客之道，以及內地學子清晨操練、挑燈夜讀的勤奮態度，均讓聖言同學深受啟發。

這種跨越地域的對話、交流，為兩地青年種下了友誼的種子。展望未來，聖言中學期待與翰林實驗學校持續深耕姊妹學校情誼，透過更多元化的合作往來，讓兩校學子在互學互鑑中廣拓視野，成就具備家國情懷與國際觀的優秀人才，讓兩校友誼長青，共締教育碩果。

During the Easter holiday (April 1st to April 4th), the Sing Yin Secondary School Sister School Exchange Delegation traveled from Victoria Harbour to the banks of the Dongjiang River for a four-day intensive exploration. The group visited Hanlin Experimental School in Dongguan, the Opium War Museum in Humen, and the ""Eye of the Bay Area” in Shenzhen, witnessing both the cultural heritage and the modern development of the Greater Bay Area through a packed itinerary.

The three days spent at Hanlin Experimental School were filled with enriching activities. From welcoming ceremonies, classroom immersions, and campus tours to sports experiences like golf and tennis, charity bazaars, and even heartfelt moments like making dumplings and attending the International Department’s Coming-of-Age Ceremony, Sing Yin students witnessed the authentic daily life of a mainland school firsthand.

The friendly football match between the two schools was a standout highlight. As they competed on the pitch, our students were deeply moved by the unyielding sportsmanship and resilience of their peers. Furthermore, the meticulous hospitality of the Hanlin faculty and the disciplined diligence of the students—marked by early morning drills and late-night study sessions—left a lasting impression on the Sing Yin delegation.

This cross-regional dialogue has planted seeds of friendship in the hearts of the youth from both cities. Looking ahead, Sing Yin Secondary School hopes to further cultivate the bond with Hanlin Experimental School. Through more diverse collaborations and exchanges, we aim to help students from both schools broaden their horizons through mutual learning, nurturing exceptional talents who possess both a sense of national identity and a global perspective. May the friendship between our two schools flourish and continue to yield fruitful educational results.
